Tendercare only hires state-licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Our skilled nursing staff is expertly trained in to assist patients with a variety of special and high-risk medical needs. Our staff receives ongoing in-service training to ensure the highest quality of care and management of specialized equipment required for infants and children with complex medical conditions.

In addition to a thorough interview process, all nurses and employees undergo a criminal background check upon employment to ensure your family’s safety and peace of mind.

Yes. The Scheduling Department will personally select a team of nurses to care for your child. During the first few weeks, this group of nurses will rotate shifts to become familiar with your child’s healthcare needs and your home environment. Our goal is to maintain consistency in your child’s care team.

However, to ensure your child always has the necessary care, there may be occasional changes in scheduling or personnel if one of our nurses is ill or unavailable. Rest assured, Tendercare’s top priority is providing consistent, quality care to every patient.
